chorus 1
Middle america is not my equal
(middle america is not my equal)
I will, i will never sell out to rich white people (i will never sell out to rich white people )
Never get a job, guess i stay broke (never get a job, guess i stay broke)
And i spend all of my free time sniffin’ cooooooccccccaine

verse 1
Ugh, yeah
Question, if niggas had buying power
Do you think taylor swift could sell a million copies of bullshit?
The cd format or digital download
I swear to god these redneck tweens are in their motherfucking zone
I wanna chop their motherfuckin’ heads off
Feed them to my ex-boss
Who used to the run the town (till i cut his fucking legs off)
How’s he doing? i feed him (yeah)
Occasionally, beat him
Treat him like i treat the elders (yeah)
Stick around for the money, watch it pile tall
Wait for an opening, then sue him for it all
Bought a 360 slim with that projector
Laid back playing opps black, duty of call (wooo)
On a 70 inch tv, courtesy of my punching bag lover
Ooouu girl, there’ll never be another (no)
It seems, like there’s only one way and
Someone please tell these fucking motorhead fans (ah)
I will slap the horsesh-t out of lemmy, kill mr
Cut his chops off, nigga, give them to kid sister
Tired of these old-ass fucking baby boomers thinking everything without guitars isn’t music (oh my fucking god)
So, jay-z is just bullshit? kanye is bullshit?
But eminem is cool? aaaaaaaaaaa, bullshit
Faggots never seen it, lived it or went through it
They just denounce it cause they are not in tune with it (haaa)
But i know what’s your fucking problem, dude (what’s that?)
Seems like ain’t nobody ever noticed you (true)
You the type of guy have a bad day, get your panties in a bunch
Fock around and go postal too
Like franky, what happened?
Commence to clapping
I just saw 8 mile, commence to rapping (yup)
My dad is forrest gump, yo commence to acting
Imma start a revolution like prince’s faction
But these problems are killing me (what?)
I’m like mr. t without the mohawk, another nigga rockin’ jewelry
A buff, bland nigga that’s all committed to c–nery
Around here, we got a saying for that, g
It goes

chorus 2
You are not my equal (equal)
I will never sell out to rich white people (nope)
Never get a job, guess i stay broke (guess i stay broke)
And i spend all of my free time sniffing coke (yeah)

verse 2
I need some different punchlines and lyrics that you can skate to
So i can sell records to kids i can’t relate to
Sell out shows that i always show up late to
And fuck model broads i usually masturbate to
-sniff- sticky purp, call it great glue
Use it any time i need to fix my mental
And i ain’t wanna say nothing
But i became a better writer when i stopped using pencils
Ugh, so shoutout to the cs (word)
Shoutout to everyone in the gop
Shoutout to my niggas (yeah)
Fighting for the cause (yeah)
Shoutout to that dumbass bitch sarah heath
These redneck motherfuckers want me dead (fuck y’all)
So i wrote them all a poem, this is how it went
It went “fuck glenn beck, fuck juan williams and fuck fox news
And if you like any of them, then fuck you too”

Biography

edit bio
Devon Hendryx, also known as "The Rockwood Escape Plan," was a rapper and producer who was active in the music scene from around 2007 to 2012. During this time, he released five albums and experimented heavily with different genres, showcasing his versatility and talent as an artist.

Hendryx's first release, "Dreamcast Summer Songs," came out in 2009 and was created in 2007. This instrumental album utilized a sound that would later become known as Vaporwave, setting the stage for his future musical endeavors.

As he continued to evolve as an artist, Hendryx began incorporating rapping and production into his work. He released two hip hop albums, "JOECHILLWORLD" and "The Rockwood Escape Plan," in 2011 and 2012, respectively. His experimental approach and blunt wordplay gained him a dedicated online fanbase and solidified his reputation as a boundary-pushing artist.

In addition to his albums, Hendryx also released a few EPs, including "LISA" with Enso Sinatra and "Heart Emoji," although these projects have since been deleted and are considered less popular compared to his full-length releases.

Hendryx's final album under his original moniker was "THE GHOST POP TAPE," which came out in 2013. This project saw him moving away from traditional rapping and instead exploring an ethereal, droned-out vapor-wave-esque R&B sound, with themes of suicide prevalent throughout the record.

Following the release of "THE GHOST POP TAPE," Hendryx made the decision to change his name to JPEGMAFIA and launched a new Bandcamp page under his new alias. This marked a new chapter in his musical career, as he continued to push boundaries and experiment with his sound under his new identity. Through his work as Devon Hendryx and later as JPEGMAFIA, he has left a lasting impact on the music industry and continues to be celebrated for his innovative approach to music.
