AJJ - Dissonance

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1308262
Solidarity forever, man

My feet planted in different realities
I've been doing lots of parallel planning and asking
Does morals exist anymore?
Wondering if society's all broken down yet

I should probably know
I should probably know
I should probably grow some more plants in the window
I should probably try
I should probably try
I should probably try to find a cure for this dissonance and I wonder
Is there anybody out there who knows -
When even was our last objective reality?
I wanna buy them a drink. I wanna pick on their brains
I wanna hear all the things that we once held in common

And I'll probably cry
Yes I'll probably cry
And I'll probably rhyme sigh and die a couplе more times
But you're probably right, I should probably keep it light
I could go on all night whеn there's no one to stop me and I wonder...

My feet planted in different realities
I've been doing lots of parallel planning and asking
Does morals exist anymore?
Wondering if society's all broken down yet

I should probably know
I should probably know
I should probably grow some more plants in the window
I should probably try
I should probably try
I should probably try to find a cure for this dissonance and I wonder

Is there anybody out there who knows -
When even was our last objective reality?

Biography

edit bio
AJJ (formerly known as Andrew Jackson Jihad) formed in 2004 in their home town of Phoenix, Arizona. Their early releases were marked by a folk punk production and themes covering mental health, poverty, and politics. However, with the release of Christmas Island in 2014 (soon followed by the name change), their genre became less defined. In the releases since, their sound is more varied, slightly veering towards the experimental.

The band’s core members are Sean Bonnette (lead vocals, acoustic guitar) and Ben Gallaty (bass guitar, double bass, backing vocals).
