Kesha - Happy
What if none of this happened?
It's nothin' like i imagined it
What if i wasn't this strong? mmm
What if it all just went different?
So many times i wish i woulda just listened
I wasn't ready for it all
★ pre-chorus ★
There's so many things i'd change, but i can't
There's so many things i said that i wish i left unsaid
Time's passin' me by
Gotta just laugh so i don't cry
★ chorus ★
But if you asked me then where i wanted to be
It'd look somethin' like this, livin' out my wildest of dreams
But life sometimes ain't always what it seems
But if you ask me now, all i've wanted to be
Is happy
★ post-chorus ★
Mmm
★ verse 2 ★
I remember when i was little
Before i knew that anyone could be evil
These egos, some people
Playin' with my innocence like at a casino
And i refuse to be jaded
Still paintin' rainbows all over my face, oh
I've gotten used to the fall, fall
★ pre-chorus ★
There's so many things i'd change, but i can't
There's so many things i said that i wish i left unsaid
Time's passin' me by
Gotta just laugh so i don't die
★ chorus ★
But if you asked me then where i wanted to be
It'd look somethin' like this, livin' out my wildest of dreams
But life ain't always what it seems
No, life's got me fallin' to my knees
But if you ask me now, all i've wanted to be
★ post-chorus ★
Oh, oh
Oh, oh, ooh
★ bridge ★
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now
Mmm
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
If you'd ask me now (oh, oh)
★ outro ★
All i've wanted to be
Is happy

Biography
At the age of eighteen, Kesha signed a record deal with Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records in 2005. Her big break came when she was featured on Flo Rida’s hit single “Right Round” in 2009. This led to the release of her debut album, Animal, in 2010. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned hits like “Tik Tok,” which broke records for its success.
Following the success of Animal, Kesha released the extended play Cannibal in 2010, which included hits like “We R Who We R” and “Blow.” She embarked on her Get Sleazy Tour in 2011, which saw her travel around the world performing for her fans. In 2012, Kesha released her sophomore album, Warrior, and continued to tour extensively.
In 2014, Kesha made headlines when she entered rehab to seek treatment for bulimia nervosa. After leaving treatment, she announced that she was changing her stage name from Ke$ha to Kesha. That same year, she filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke, her longtime collaborator, alleging mistreatment and abuse. Despite the legal battles, Kesha made a triumphant return to music in 2016 with a feature on Zedd’s track “True Colors.” The following year, she released “Praying,” the lead single from her third studio album, Rainbow. The album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, showcased Kesha’s growth as an artist and her resilience in the face of adversity.
