MARIS - Hot Guitar Player

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1646424
intro
I don't want them
I want you
I want your long phone calls and your drunk tattoos
And i want you
I want you

verse 1
I came to your friend’s show
You're in all all the bands, so
I stayed the whole night
Dry as bone
Handing you water
Being a band wife
That's not my m.o
So, i had to go home

pre-chorus
There’s a million different hot guitar players
There's a million different funny guys
There's a million different people with a reasonable schedule
That would give me just a little more time

chorus
But i don't want them
I want you
I want your long phone calls and your drunk tattoos
I want your jokes
I want your smile
I wanna talk through every movie being cinephiles
And i want you

verse 2
I'm tired of talking
To everyone but you
But i'm scared to bug you
So, i leave you alone
You slept over last month
But we didn't have sex
It was just nice to lay and stay off of our phones

pre-chorus
There's a million different hot guitar players
There’s a million different funny guys
There’s a million different people with a reasonable schedule
That would give me just a little more time

chorus
But i don't want them
I want you
I want your long phone calls and your drunk tattoos
I want your jokes
And i want your smile
I wanna talk through every movie being cinephiles
And i want you

post-chorus
Oh, i want you
Oh, i want you
Oh, i want you, i want you

bridge
I want you to come over to be soft and gentle
Sleeping in my arms, all sentimental
I want you
I want you
I want you
I think i’ve been ignoring obvious potential
Giving you a one-way ticket outta the friendzone
I want you (i want you)
I want you (i want you)
I want you

chorus
I don't want them
I want you
I want your long phone calls and your drunk tattoos
I want your jokes
I want your smile
I wanna talk through every movie being cinephiles
And i want you

post-chorus
Oh, i want you (oh, i want you)
Oh, i want you (oh, i want you)
Oh, i want you, i want you

outro
I want you to come over to be soft and gentle
Sleeping in my arms, all sentimental
I want you
I want you
I want you
Do you want me too?
"i'm sorry! ha-ha-ha!"
"ha, ha-ha-ha-ha, ha! yeah, that sounds like shit! ha-ha, ha-ha-ha!"
