Copied!edit Lyrics

intro
Yeah

chorus
Can't no one take up your place (can't no one take up your place)
You had me changin' my ways (you had me changin' my ways)
I know sometimes i go head under water, but i always fix the mistakes (i always fix the mistakes)
I gotta learn to communicate better, you know there's a lot on my plate (you know there's a lot on my plate)
Honestly, i feel ashamed (honestly, i feel ashamed)
But i don't want things to change (change)
Ayy, ayy
No, i don't want things to change (i don't want things to change)
And i don't want things to change (i don't want things to change)
And i don't want things to change (i don't want things to change)
No, i don't want things to change (i don't want things to change)

verse
Yeah
I been the one that they sleepin' on
They should watch out who they speakin' on
Momma raised me in a decent home, but i won't hesitate to let people know
I'm comin' for all their necks
I know you hear what they say on the internet
But i got some bigger threats
Own people want me gone, i ain't finished yet
If you ever did me dirty and i cut you off, don't mention my name to nobody
Don't come back around and act like you're sorry
Smilin' faces when they see me at parties
These days, can't remember their faces
The life of the rich and the famous
I come from the land of the snakes
Where most the girls'll sell their soul for a facelift
Most these girls'll sell their heart for a bracelet
I take a few when i'm anxious
Really, i shouldn't 'cause i just need you
But you rather be in different places
You're the only one that see me as human
You're the only one that didn't try usin' me
Hard for me to say that i'm not abusive
When all i ever do is hurt myself usually

No, i don't want things to change (i don't want things to change)

part ii

intro
Baby, i'm tryna be the one for you, don't make this hard for me
I'm tryna show you that there's so much more out there to see
The world is rootin' for you like crazy than you believe
So hold onto me
Yeah

Thinkin' back to when i prayed to god to set me free
Didn't wanna live no more, i fell onto my knees
Almost started givin' up when he finally bring me peace
But god had a bigger plan that i just couldn't see
Family matters, it's the thing we do they never see
I gave my all friends, family, everything they need
They try to label me a fraud, some shit i'll never be
I write these songs for the hopeless, just like you and me
Yours truly
Yeah

outro
Ayo, answer the phone, it's damon
See, i know you goin' through a lot right now
I just had to let you know, you the greatest
You know, or every minor setback, there's a major come back
For every dark night, there's a beautiful sunset
I love you, brother and that's stronger that life
We is the light, we is the vibe
Shit gets dark then we come through and shine
Yours truly, fifty-one fifty, we takin' over the world
Call me back
Call me back
