Brooklyn Queen - All My Life

Copied!edit Lyrics

Verse
Why they wanna see you in some drama but don't wanna see you celebrate your wins?
Why they say they wanna see you happy 'til they think they see you doin' better than them?
Gave you trust and you took advantage, why would I let you do that again?
Now I'm knowin' that the fakest handshakes always come in the form of a friend
Let's talk about how these lil boys get queens but don't have the proper intentions
Knowin' the money is power, but don't know the soul is the root of the riches
But how can you blame him? He stuck in a cycle, repeatin' the life that he witness
How momma don't know it, she ain't never felt it, she can't even show him the difference
Let's talk about kings for a minute
Imagine the pain when your dream is diminished
Feelin' the weight of the world on your shoulders, the crown'll get heavy, but you gotta lift it
Gotta vision, it's beyond all the lights and the mansions
Let go of the hype and intention
Unite for the life of the children
I'm on a mission
Queen

Inspired by gratitude, positivity and Beyoncé, 15-year-old Brooklyn Queen wrote her first song at age five. The Detroit native fulfilled an early dream of releasing that song on her 2017 debut album Queens Corner. Since 2020 began, she has released nine new singles as of July, and has five more already lined up for release.

Brooklyn Queen has already built a powerful and loyal fan base. “I want to make it clear to young girls that anything is possible if you just follow your dreams,” she asserts.

Backed by BMB Entertainment and The Orchard, Brooklyn will set her vision to new heights as a multi-faceted artist, actress and credible teen influencer.
