Kacey Fifield - Left Behind
Or that I’ll stay inside regretting what I never did
I’m all alone, there’s no path I know how to follow
I can’t keep letting my intrusive feelings win
And I still see the ghosts in my room
Nostalgia haunts me
I can’t tell if they came from within
Are they coming to me for revenge?
I just feel like
Life is slippin’
All my friends are
Slowly driftin’
My worst fear is
Staying in the past my whole life
Don’t wanna get left behind
Don’t wanna get left behind
Don’t wanna get lеft behind
Sometimes I feel likе all my life’s a competition
I’ll reinvent myself like there’s nothing to lose
I don’t really wanna hear it (oh), I don’t really wanna feel it (no)
Don’t want to think too much, that’s all I ever do
And I still see the ghosts in my room
Nostalgia haunts me
I can’t tell if they came from within
Are they coming to me for revenge (for revenge)?
I just feel like
Life is slippin’
All my friends are
Slowly driftin’
My worst fear is
Staying in the past my whole life
Don’t wanna get left behind
Don’t wanna get left behind
Don’t wanna get left behind
We win, we lose
We die too soon
Hearts grow, hearts change
Forget my name
I just feel like
Life is slippin’
All my friends are
Slowly driftin’
My worst fear is
Staying in the past my whole life
Don’t wanna get left behind
We win, we lose
We die too soon (don’t wanna get left behind)
Hearts grow, hearts change
Forget my name (don’t wanna get left behind)
Don’t wanna get left behind
Don’t wanna get left…
