Jordana Bryant - Fire Works

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1958391
Verse 1
Didn't take much
Just two minutes talking 'til I felt that rush
'Bout two weeks talking 'til the world felt lighter
When you're with me
Ignite the city
When you kiss me

Chorus
I don't know what it means
But when you look at me
I swear that everything just looks a little brighter
Somehow a tiny spark turned into fireworks
You pulled me out the dark
I guess that's just how fire works
Just how fire works

Verse 2
It takes hold of everything
Could burn a whole fortress down
And even a thousand rains couldn't put it out
Midnight lighting
When I'm with you
Thought it'd go out by now but it's still blue

Chorus
I don't know what it means
But when you look at me
I swеar that everything just looks a little brightеr
Somehow a tiny spark turned into fireworks
You pulled me out the dark
I guess that's just how fire works
Oh, just how fire works, mm

Bridge
'Cause it didn't take much
Just two hearts falling
And I don't know much
But it feels like it could be love

Chorus
I don't know what it means
But when you look at me
I swear that everything just looks a little brighter
Somehow a tiny spark turned into fireworks
You pulled me out the dark
I guess that's just how fire works
Oh, just how fire works, mm
Just how fire works

hi i’m jordana! i’m 18 years old, i’m from a small town in pennsylvania (but i live in nashville now) and i love writing songs! probably more than breathing :) getting to share how i’m feeling with people through music is one of my favorite things! i can’t remember a time when i didn’t know that music is what i want to do with my life. it’s just always been such a fundamental part of me. that’s probably because i feel like i experience everything through music. when something exciting happens, i write a song about it. when i’m going through something difficult, i write a song about it. it’s just always been my go-to response for whatever’s happening in my life.
