Tom MacDonald - You Can Wear A Noose Like Me

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1969286
Oh man, I've been feeling depressed
I think that I should promote a shirt with a noose on it
Because it'll make people wanna kill themselves like I wanna kill myself
Yeah

Have you heard my album Therapy lately?
With the Lorazepam on the fucking cover?
Its meant to be administered PRN
You can abuse Lorazepam if you take it PRN

But, uh, those meds aren't working anymore
Only way that I can make my feelings work
Is my putting them over shitty rock beats
Like on most of Therapy
Yеah

I think that rock music
Was made for the white racе
By the white race
And my fans think the same thing that I do
Because my fans love rock music
I can't believe I'm stuck with these fans
That only like rock music
I was meant to be a serious rapper
Then all those drugs got to me
And I just couldn't live with myself anymore
It, just, it wasn't the same anymore
Ugh, I mean look
The parties, the drugs, the life that I had
It was all great
But I wasn't making money
Which is why I'm making rock music

Now some of you might be wondering
"Why aren't these vocals matching the instrumental?
It's like you're recording them silently
You're just doing a vocal track
Over a beat that you made"
Which I am
It's meant to add that emotion
That you get from music like this

My name is Tom MacDonald
I'm not gonna be some generic rapper
Or generic rock artist
I'm gonna make the best music ever
To talk about me
Nobody else but me
Yeah
