Onward through the night
Starry skies above his head

City's on his mind

His family in St. Paul
Travelin' through the night
And on through Omaha
Music to his ears
A trucker changin' gears
Drank his coffee
Take his pills
Drive on through the night

Midnight cowboy ride
Onward through the night
Starry skies above his head
'Front the headlights shine
'Front the headlights shine
In front the headlights shine
'Front the headlights shine
In front the headlights shine
