Chris Brown, born Christopher Maurice Brown on May 5, 1989, is a Grammy-winning R&B singer, rapper, dancer, graffiti artist, and illustrator. He made history as the first male lead artist to have his debut single, “Run It!”, top the Billboard Hot 100 in 8 years in 2005. Brown's talent as a musician, dancer, and entertainer is undeniable, as evidenced by his numerous awards and nominations over the years.

In 2012, at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, Brown's fourth studio album F.A.M.E. won the award for Best R&B Album. Throughout his career, he has released hit songs such as “Look At Me Now,” “Turn Up the Music,” and “Loyal,” as well as successful collaborations with other artists.

Despite facing legal troubles and a stint in rehab, Brown continued to release music, including his sixth album X in 2014 and a joint project with rapper Tyga titled Fan of a Fan: The Album in 2015. In 2017, he released his autobiographical movie Welcome to My Life, providing insight into his life and career.

Brown made history again in 2017 by becoming the 10th most certified artist in RIAA single history. He has sold over 74 million units between his singles and albums and earned 40 RIAA plaques in 2017 alone. In 2018, he announced a joint project with rapper Joyner Lucas, and in 2019, he released his ninth studio album Indigo, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
