Mac Miller - On Sail

hook
She said, i like you better when you’re sober
Why are you so high all the time? (god damn)
And tonight i called you over, i didn’t want to fuck you
I just want to see what’s on your mind, you need to know that i’m a soldier babe
At any moment i could go away
If you could start everything over new, and everything is fine
What would you sell? what would you buy?

chorus
How high is the number on your price tag? (on your price tag)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
How high is the number on your price tag? (what’s on your price tag?)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
Yeah, and i really do adore you, i don’t think i can afford you
I am sure that you are a fortune, but unfortunately
Imma wave the white flag (yeah, i know you like, that)

verse
Yeah, she a little expensive
Got everything that you need in a woman, she more than good looking, she really a blessing
Do you mind if i ask a question, not to offend you
Should i call a detective? sure there’s an angel that’s missing from heaven
I like you just the way god made you (uh huh)
You don’t need to change a thing (no you don’t)
And i’m not here to save you, i’m just giving you the space to
Spread your feathers, every angel need her wings
You know like it when we (?)
Teach you, sin, freak you in your dreams again while we wake up
She was worth my money, you could spend before you got
Would you sell or would you buy?

chorus
How high is the number on your price tag? (what’s on your price tag?)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
How high is the number on your price tag? (what’s on your price tag?)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
How high is the number on your price tag? (what’s on your price tag?)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
How high is the number on your price tag? (what’s on your price tag?)
Oh, on your price tag (what’s on your price tag?)
Yeah, and i really do adore you, i don’t think i can afford you
I am sure that you are a fortune, but unfortunately
Imma wave the white flag

Biography

edit bio
Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.

Mac spent the early part of his career with Rostrum Records until he left on the first month of 2014, becoming an independent artist. In October 2014, he created his own label called “REMember Music” with Warner Bros Records. He capitalized ‘REM’ in tribute to his friend Reuben Eli Mitrani, who tragically died at just 20.
