Lee Dorsey - Draining

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/2045362
(You’re draining)
(You’re draining me)

You’re draining, oh baby
You’re draining me (draining me)
And I’m straining
Tryna be what you want me to be

Where’d you get your training?
Oh baby, if you wasn’t so good
I’d do what I could to breakaway

You’re draining
You except so much
And you knew that I would
Do all that I could to make a way

And I’ll take, I’ll take
It far as I can go
And then I’ll try
To do even little bit more
And still, can breakdown
When the pressure gets to be too much

And although I may try to hold on
When it’s gone way past what I’ve got to give
Baby, can you live and let live?
You’re draining, oh baby
You’re draining me (draining me)
Where’d you get your training? Oh baby
You’re draining me

Now if you love me baby like you say
You’ve got to let me live to love another day
Like a little bit now
Oh and a little bit later

And although I may try to hold on
When it’s gone way past what I’ve got to give
Tell me baby, can you live and let live?

You’re draining, oh baby
You’re draining me (draining me)

Where’d you get your training?
Oh baby, if you wasn’t so good
I’d do what I could to breakaway

You’re draining, oh baby
You’re draining me (draining me)
And I’m straining
Tryna be what you want me to be
(What you want me to be)
(What you want me to be)
(What you want me to be)
You’re draining, oh baby
You’re draining me
