Lyrics From Snippet

If I was you, I was you
Just keep it a hundred thousand if i was you
If i was just chilling in Miami Beach
Take a trip down to Fontainebleau
They watching you flex and they really upset
They gone say they ain't proud of you
I'm rocking Jordans today...

I feel like checking my dm today
Its whatever your tryna do
She said she from michigan
And im from the X so you can't be my bitch again
If you come to my city again
❲?❳ we can be friends again
Im talkin so serious
Sorry if i make you feel so delirious

Born on December 6, 1995, in The Bronx, New York, Julius Dubose, known professionally as A Boogie wit da Hoodie, is an American rapper and singer. Growing up in the Highbridge neighborhood of The Bronx, A Boogie was surrounded by the vibrant hip-hop culture of the area.

A Boogie adopted his stage name as a nod to his roots - the "A" in his name stands for his first name, while "Boogie" is a reference to the nickname for The Bronx, also known as the Boogie Down Bronx. The addition of "wit da Hoodie" came from his signature style of always wearing hoodies.

A Boogie first gained attention with his underground hit "My Shit," released in 2016. Following the success of the single, he dropped his debut mixtape, Artist, in February of the same year. Collaborating with fellow artist Don Q, they released a joint mixtape titled Highbridge the Label: The Takeover, Vol. 1 in May.

In 2017, A Boogie released his debut studio album, The Bigger Artist, showcasing his unique blend of rap and melodic singing. The album was well-received, setting the stage for his future success. He followed up with his debut EP, International Artist, in 2018.

A significant milestone in A Boogie's career came with the release of his sophomore studio album, Hoodie SZN, in 2018. The album topped the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, solidifying his position in the music industry.

Continuing his momentum, A Boogie released his third studio album, Artist 2.0, on Valentine's Day in 2020. The album marked the four-year anniversary of his debut mixtape, Artist, and showcased his growth as an artist. Just four months later, he dropped the deluxe version of Artist 2.0, featuring new tracks including a special appearance from his daughter, Melody.

A Boogie wit da Hoodie has established himself as a versatile artist with a unique sound that blends rap and melodic singing. With his catchy hooks and introspective lyrics, he continues to captivate audiences and solidify his place in the music industry.
