Biography
COUPEN began writing music at 14 years old, then producing music at 16 years old using the Apple music creation app GarageBand on an iPhone 6. He later built his home music studio at the age of 18 while creating his debut EP “1102” that he would later release on his 19th birthday (November 2, 2018).
COUPEN would go on to release two singles “if only” and “tbhidk” in early 2019 before taking a break from music. He would return to releasing music in 2020 with ending the year completing his goal of releasing 20 songs in 2020 with the intention of finding his sound.
As an independent artist who enjoys all aspects of music production, all songs by COUPEN are written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by COUPEN himself.
