original text at lyrnow.com/318122
Interviewer: What do you feel when you hear a record like 2Pac's new one?

Kendrick: Pac's loud, man

Interviewer: Right, but don't you feel like that creates.. uh.. tension between East and West? He's talking about killing people; "I had sex with your wife"

Kendrick: I talk about it, too. I talk about murder; I talk about violence; I talk about all of that. But, not to glorify it. To educate you on it; to know that it's real

Misc. Talking
Fifthteen, um, le-let's go to thirteen
Hmm, walking from home
Police pull up on the side of you
"Ay, you look like so-and-so"
"I'm not so-and-so"
"You are so-and-so"
"Get in the car and let's take this ride"
"Get out the car; you're not so-and-so; we don't need you"
That's one of the stories
(Compton, California)
