Oliver Tree Nickell, born on June 29, 1993, in Santa Cruz, California, is a multi-talented musician known for his unique persona and genre-defying music. Oliver first gained attention in 2016 when he released a video on Vine introducing his alter ego, Turbo.

Initially releasing music under the name Tree, Oliver's breakthrough came with the viral success of his upbeat dance track "When I'm Down" in collaboration with Whethan. This led to him signing with Atlantic Records in 2017. The following year, Oliver released the Alien Boy EP, showcasing his potential and earning millions of streams.

Known for his extravagant music videos and comedic social media presence, Oliver's unorthodox fashion sense and musical style set him apart in the industry. The Huffington Post described him as an "enigma of genre" due to his incorporation of various elements like rap, vocal harmonies, poetic lyrics, and synth in his music.

In addition to playing at various festivals and joining The Chainsmokers on tour, Oliver released his debut album, Ugly is Beautiful, on July 17th, to immense acclaim. The album quickly climbed to the top 3 on the iTunes charts within 24 hours of its release, solidifying Oliver's status as a rising star in the music scene. With his innovative approach to music and larger-than-life persona, Oliver Tree continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
