Eminem - What's Your Intent?

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/337052
(Verse 1:)
All them gangsta motherf*ckers that went platinum
I had 'em hold out their hands and put a gat in 'em
Looked 'em in the faces and then spat in 'em
I picked the meanest Rott in this
Look at when it got in his face his daughter's swat to dot
His others gotten monotonous
'Cause all ya bitches swear ya made of cement
If you would've just had my f*ckin money, I'd be straight as a split
But all ya multi-millionaires have never paid us in rent
So what a house and motherf*ckers that nеver made us a cent

(Hook)
What's your intеnt?
A man alive's a livin' cunt
You're into jude your intent
I wanna know where you stand, I mean as far as who you are
How would you act if woke up and tomorrow you're a star

(Verse 2:)
I made a little change
Now they got me doin' some shows wit ho's in 'em
But I ain't change I still wear my clothes with holes in 'em
And wear my hair however I like
Bic it to stick it to slick it back, lick it back and then pat it down to spike
I'm happy to be alive and well
But it's probably way too happy be when you're survivin' hell
But in a way I think I'm kinda glad at that
'Cause I appreciate the good now that I've had it bad
Now I'mma run it back

(Hook)
What's your intent?
A man alive's a livin' cunt
You're into jude your intent
I wanna know where you stand, I mean as far as who you are
How would you act if woke up and tomorrow you're a star?
What's your intent?

(Bridge:)
What's your intent?
I wanna know
What's your intent?
Tell me what's your intent?

(Verse 3:)
I come from where the folks of the family
Where there wasn't nothin' but funkin' and drug addicts and drug in our family
The only word that ever was to close was do or die
My uncle couldn't take it the moment chosen suicide
My Aunt's and Uncle

He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and faced a tumultuous childhood marked by poverty and a turbulent family life. Despite these challenges, Eminem discovered his passion for rap music at a young age and began honing his skills as a battle rapper in the underground hip-hop scene of Detroit.

Eminem's talent and raw lyrical ability quickly gained him recognition, and he was discovered by renowned producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to his record label, Aftermath Entertainment. In 1999, Eminem released his major-label debut album, "The Slim Shady LP," which catapulted him to superstardom and earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

Throughout his career, Eminem has broken numerous barriers and achieved unprecedented success. He became the first rapper to win the Grammy Award for Best Album for three consecutive albums and the first rapper to win an Oscar. His albums "The Marshall Mathers LP" and "The Eminem Show" were both certified Diamond by the RIAA, solidifying his status as one of the best-selling artists in hip-hop history.

Despite his immense success, Eminem has also faced personal struggles, including drug dependence and depression. The tragic death of his best friend and fellow rapper, Proof, in 2006, had a profound impact on him and led to a period of hiatus from music.

In the 2010s, Eminem underwent a musical evolution, shifting his focus from shock-oriented lyrics to more emotional subject matters. His albums "Recovery" and "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" were well-received by critics and fans alike, showcasing his growth as an artist.

Eminem's music has always been known for its controversial and thought-provoking content, addressing issues such as his own struggles, social commentary, and political themes. His lyrics have resonated with audiences around the world, earning him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.

In addition to his solo career, Eminem is also a member of the groups Bad Meets Evil and D12. He founded Shady Records in 1999 and has served as the label's president, overseeing the careers of other talented artists.

With a string of hit singles and albums to his name, Eminem continues to be a dominant force in the music industry. His ability to reinvent himself and push the boundaries of hip-hop has solidified his legacy as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
