Koethe - Imposter Syndrome

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/345211
verse 1
I never dreamed, it always seemed like i'd been wasting light
Never believed, although i must have half a million times, oh
And by the end, i must have lost my mind
But is that alright? yeah, is that alright?
I never dreamed, it always seemed i was stuck standing by
Without a choice, without a voice, idle and terrified
A silhouette content to just let lie
And is that alright? yeah, is that alright?

chorus
But if i'm being honest
For as fine as i am
Should i not feel nothing
Quite as much as i have?
And for all of your answers
Do you not understand?
This is who i am

post-chorus
And it's one thing, one thing
Mute, but i can't say nothing
But i never learned how to try
And it's suffocating
Still, but i can't stop changing
And i can't even say why

verse 2
When i've been living all the life, i've been to afraid to let die
And is that alright? yeah, is that alright?
I never dreamed, it always seemed like i'd been wasting light
Left unopposed and so it goes to feel so terrified
And i don't know if i am realized
But is that alright? could that be alright?

chorus
'cause if i'm being honest
For as fine as i am
Should i not feel nothing
Quite as much as i have?
And for all of your answers
Do you not understand?
This is who i am

instrumental bridge

chorus
And if i'm being honest
For as fine as i am
Could i not feel nothing
Quite as much as i have?
And for all of my answers
Why i not understand?
This is who i am
