I don't do no, no testing thing
I don't do no, best friending
Merlyn!

verse 2: kevin abstract
I hold my hands up off everything
I fucked the world up a wedding ring
I hold the mic like i'm heather b
I hold the mic up, let the world let me
See all the things that i want to see
One-two-three right in front of me
Back in the day when my sister let me watch mtv before i sleep

verse 3: dom mclennon
I don't see opposition near
Shoot the frame like i'm lars von trier
Won't succumb or run from my fears
For the melancholia for my peers
Cloud above my head, hide my tears
Hydroplane without shifting gears
Loop-de-loop down mulholland drive
Hope i land in a newer life
On a new star, on a new pitch
In a new world with a new whip
Headlights speed when i tap that gas
I won't hide from what's in my past
I don't need you lames in my life
Don't need fame to go shine my light
Bigger picture ain't in your sight
Imma paint a vision, imax tonight

verse 4: ameer vann
I paid for fame i should've kept my reciepts
Sold my soul for a handful of weed
Still got holes in my hands and my feet
I turn pain into sprite with the lean
Mark of the beast
Real big dog need a bone and a leash
I see demons when i fall into sleep
Shadows leaning like they following me
Sold out show, but i'm still alone
Dress my best when i feel depressed
So i ain't taking no shit tonight
Quarter ounce of that kyrptonite
Burn it down and i feel alright
I can't seem to outrun my problems
I get high and i never solve 'em
Roll it up and i burn my sorrow

hook: kevin abstract
Lalalala lalalala
Lalalala lalalala
Lalalala lalalala

verse 5: matt champion
Front seat, back seat, also in shotgun
Bangin' on the door like we gon' fuck it all up
All these different me's ain't fuckin' with me
Bet you thought, babygirl had me down to a t
Take one to the drug spot, one to the bank
One to the cemetery, see what y'all think
Six feet on the block, opp needa angel
Lean back under my eyes like a zombie
Someone left the top like a purple badge
Weed eye color make ya' bug out
When i scroll through, little me in my head voodoo
Goo goo goo joob, early birdie get the beatle
Fuck it up, let the meter run
Life short, have a little fun
I don't give a fuck about you, yes i gotta run

Biography

edit bio
BROCKHAMPTON is an LA-based boyband that was originally formed in San Marcos, Texas in 2015. The group was founded by high school friends Ian “Kevin Abstract” Simpson and Ameer Vann, who initially formed a group called ALIVESINCEFOREVER in 2012. After releasing their debut EP, The ASF EP, in 2013, the group disbanded at the end of 2014 and rebranded themselves as BROCKHAMPTON.

The band consists of a diverse roster of creatives, including musicians, graphic designers, producers, and videographers, who come together to create a mix of content. Named after the street that Kevin Abstract grew up on in Corpus Christi, TX, BROCKHAMPTON was founded out of a desire for connection and friendship.

In 2015, BROCKHAMPTON gained recognition with the release of their song “Dirt” on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, marking a breakthrough moment in their career. The following year, they released their debut mixtape, ALL-AMERICAN TRASH, and in 2017, they gained popularity with the release of their debut album, SATURATION, followed by SATURATION II and SATURATION III later that year.

After signing with RCA Records in 2018, the band faced challenges with the dismissal of rapper Ameer Vann due to sexual assault allegations. Despite this setback, BROCKHAMPTON released their fourth album, iridescence, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album marked the beginning of a new trilogy titled THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

In 2019, BROCKHAMPTON released their fifth full-length record, GINGER, which showcased their versatility and creativity as a group. With a lineup that includes members such as Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Russell “Joba” Boring, and more, BROCKHAMPTON continues to push boundaries and redefine the boyband genre with their unique sound and collaborative spirit.
