R. Kelly - My Story

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/531144
This is my story
Yeah, I'm from that Chi-town dirt
I went from being broke to sleeping in Versace shirts
This is my story
Money, cars, bad hoes
This is my story
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it
And I'm sticking to it

It's my story, I'm sticking to it
Drama, man I've been through it
I'm turned on by this shit
Life's a bitch and I'ma put my dick into it

They wrote me off, counted me out
Now I make so much they can't count it out
Got your bitch so wet, I'm drowning out

New spilt milk, I'm making cream
The worlds a court, I own the team
And I cross these haters over, made them pull a hamstring
Yeah, I do big things, write big checks, good weed, great sex
Black panties is on deck
Constipated, it ain't out yet

Twenty years
What's that, like five careers?
I'm just a happy head nigga from the Chi
I ain't even supposed to be here

Robert Kelly, better known as R. Kelly, is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. Born into a musically inclined family, Kelly began performing as a teenager under the “L” subway tracks in Chicago. His talent and passion for music led him to release his first album, Born Into the 90’s, in 1992 as a collaboration with Public Announcement. The album showcased R. Kelly's songwriting and producing skills, featuring hits like “Honey Love” and “Slow Dance.”

In 1993, R. Kelly ventured into a solo career with the release of his album 12 Play, which included popular tracks like “Bump N' Grind” and “Your Body’s Callin'.” His self-titled album in 1995 and the double album R. in 1998 further solidified his success in the music industry, with hits like “Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)” and the Grammy Award-winning song “I Believe I Can Fly.”

Throughout the ‘90s and 2000s, R.
