Aztec Flow - The Konquest

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/535028
(Verse 1)

When i was a kid i had dreams that i would make it
And if i didn't get it then i would work hard to take it
Picked up a pen and a book at age 13
While dudes said i should be working
Then rather then flirtin'
With hip hop
While other dudes follow roads to gridlock
Ima create my own path and then lift off
Its life you either create or rip off
And i see death saying "you got time but tick tock"
An now i'm doing what i love to create
Because of this i got my head straight, my own mind state
And learnt new skills cause i love to update
I gotta thank God cause i'm walking my own way
Im doing me, not copying sheets of enemies
Ima always follow my heart i guarantee
Not bad huh? for a degenerate like me
Always be that latino writing under my oak tree

(Chorus)
The Konquest
Always spit fire and never be afraid
The Konquest
Always spit fire and never be afraid

(Verse 2)

Yo i always stay reppin' two, six, fifty
Yeah that T.Era and you know The Committee
Homie started engineering in 2011
Now this music thang has become my main obsession
Man had todo a few wrong to get to a right
Can't tare me away dawg its just me and my mic
Ain't no downside to this life only highlights
Im speaking.. hit a couple bumps but i'm aight
Came up with this rap name in my own garage
Rappin', freestylin' with my entourage
We were buzzin', dreaming bout livin' it up large
And most of my homies wanted to get with Nicki Minaj
I can spit on anything from ol scool, trap to soulful
I ain't new to dudes that pretend to know you
Then they start talking like they damn well own you
Homie this is my Konquest, i don't need to show you

(Chorus)
The Konquest
Always spit fire and never be afraid
The Konquest
Always spit fire and never be afraid
