Check in check out, that's what it’s about
Losing yourself in those neon lights
I don't got no friends, just got the rat race bends
And my shoes have got holes where the rain gets in

I don't believe in love, it’s never quite like you've been dreaming of
It's craziness, for fools i guess, not me

And i don't know where i've been
And i don't think i belong here
I can't say just what i mean
And the bar is closing

Check in check out, that's what it’s about
Losing yourself in those neon lights
I don’t got no friends, i just got the rat race bends
My shoes have got holes where the rain gets in

I don't believe in love, it’s never quite like you've been dreaming of
It's craziness, for fools i guess, not me

And i don't know where i’ve been
And i don't think i belong here
I can't say just what i mean
And the bar is closing

And i don't know who to call
Was i even here at all?
I can't say just what i mean
And the bar is closing
And the bar is closing
And the bar is closing

Biography

edit bio
The Fratellis is a Scottish rock band hailing from Glasgow, formed in 2005. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli (born John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry "Baz" Fratelli (born Barry Wallace), and drummer/backing vocalist Mince Fratelli (born Gordon McRory). Despite their band name, the members are not actually brothers, but rather chose the name as a nod to the crime family in the movie "The Goonies" with "Fratelli" meaning brother in Italian.

The band gained recognition with the release of their debut EP, "The Fratellis EP," which featured the hit song "Creepin' Up The Backstairs." This led to their first big break when they were invited to perform on Jim Gellatly's Beatscene show on Galaxy Scotland. After the radio show aired, Fallout Records signed The Fratellis and they released their debut album, "Costello Music," which garnered them success and earned them the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act in 2007.

Following the success of their debut album, The Fratellis released their second album, "Here We Stand," in 2008, which further solidified their popularity worldwide. They embarked on successful tours in the UK, US, Europe, and Japan, and donated proceeds from their single "Look Out Sunshine!" to Teenage Cancer Trust.

The band continued to release music, with their third album in 2013 and a surprise EP, "The Soul Crush EP," in 2014. They released their fourth album, "Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied," in 2015 and celebrated the 10th anniversary of "Costello Music" with a series of shows in 2016. Despite facing declining sales, The Fratellis persevered and released their fifth album, "In Your Own Sweet Time," with producer Tony Hoffer.

Known for their energetic live performances and catchy rock tunes, The Fratellis have established themselves as a prominent figure in the music industry. With their distinct sound and loyal fanbase, The Fratellis continue to create music and tour, captivating audiences around the world.
