Intro: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
I don't really like myself without you
Every song I sing is still about you
Save me from myself the way you used to
'Cause I don't really like myself without you
I really wish I hated you

Verse 1: Mark Hoppus
A little drunk, waiting on your phone call
A little numb, maybe I can't feel at all
You stitch me up but you can't stop me bleeding out
I'm better when I'm broken

Pre-Chorus: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
I love you, but I hate you when you're with someone else
And I want you wrapped around me, but I don't trust myself
I drove by your house, but you don't live there anymore

Chorus: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
'Cause I don't really like myself without you
Every song I sing is still about you
Save me from myself the way you used to
'Cause I don't really like myself without you
I really wish I hated you right now
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you

Verse 2: Mark Hoppus
The sun is out, I'm dying in the daytime
I think about the future that we left behind
I drank it all, but I can't shake you from my mind
Now every window's broken

Bridge: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
I can see that you've had enough
I can see that you're giving up on me
I can see that your hands are up
I can see that you're giving up on me
I hate the way that you're better off, better off
I numb the pain but it never stops, never stops
Wish I could say that I'm better off, better off now

Chorus: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
But I don't really like myself without you
Every song I sing is still about you
Save me from myself the way you used to
'Cause I don't really like myself without you
I really wish I hated you right now
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you

Outro: Mark Hoppus & Miley Cyrus
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you
Won't you say something?
Won't you say something?
I really wish I hated you

Biography

blink-182 is a pop-punk band that set off a storm in the 1990s with their electrifying riffs and memorable lyrics. The band was founded in 1992 in Poway, California by Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and former drummer Scott Raynor. Originally known as Blink, the band had to change their name to blink-182 to avoid a lawsuit with an Irish pop-rock group. The meaning behind the "182" remains a mystery to fans.

After releasing their demo album Buddha, blink-182 gained attention in the Southern California punk scene and signed with MCA Records. Their album Dude Ranch in 1997 featured hit singles "Dammit" and "Josie." In 1998, Scott Raynor was replaced by Travis Barker due to his drinking addiction, leading to a sonic shift in the band's sound.

Enema of the State in 1999 brought blink-182 commercial success with hits like "What's My Age Again?" and "All the Small Things." The band continued to release successful albums like Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) and their self-titled album in 2003, showcasing a more mature sound.

After a four-year hiatus, blink-182 reunited in 2009 and released Neighborhoods in 2011 to critical acclaim. In 2015, Tom DeLonge left the band and was replaced by Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio. The new lineup released their seventh album, California, in 2016, followed by their eighth album, NINE, in 2019 featuring singles like "Blame It On My Youth" and "Darkside."

Throughout their career, blink-182 has remained a staple in the pop-punk genre, blending catchy melodies with raw energy and relatable lyrics. Despite lineup changes and personal challenges, the core trio of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker have continued to create music that resonates with fans worldwide.
