Reuben Whetten - In Those Boots

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/666870
Age three
Just barely thinkin'
'bout what I wanna be

Watching
Grandpa play a dozen songs
And sing

Cowboy boots
Are just like our big ol’
Magic trick

Changes
Emotions on
A regular basis

In those boots
I learned to love guitar
I planned to be
The biggest country star

In those boots
My rootin’ tootin’ boots
It’s all
In those boots

Age fourteen
Still thinkin'
'bout what I wanna be

Summer
Was like a place
Full of wonder

Cowboy boots
Are just like our big ol’
Magic trick

Changes
Emotions on
A regular basis

In those boots
I got up on that stage
Still thinking
What I was gonna say

In those boots
I built some confidence
Played my songs
In front of an audience

In those boots
My rootin’ tootin’ boots
It’s all
In those boots
