Biography
22Gz first started gaining attention in 2016 with the release of his singles "Blixky" and "Suburban". The latter, produced by AXL Beats, helped solidify his place in the Brooklyn drill scene and gained him a loyal following. It is considered one of the first major Brooklyn drill songs to gain popularity.
In 2018, 22Gz caught the attention of Kodak Black and was signed to his label, Sniper Gang. This partnership helped elevate his career and allowed him to reach a wider audience.
In the summer of 2019, 22Gz released his first major mixtape, The Blixky Tape, through Atlantic Records. The mixtape showcased his raw talent and solidified his status as a rising star in the rap world.
