Slayyyter - Letters

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/949238
Verse 1
Call me again, talk to me softly
Started as friends, feeling so lonely
I know you're hurt, I can see through the pain
You're always drunk and I act too insane
But I'll carve a heart in the house that we made
With both of our names

Chorus
I won't let you go
Even when you're sad, even if you ask me to
I want you to know
You can have my heart here for you to hold on to
I've been waiting all my life for you
Ah
Wait, wait

Verse 2
I know you write letters about me
Cry when we fight, smile when you hold me
I wished for love, every night I would pray
You came along, turned the night into day
Watching the sky, kissing me in the rain
The world fades away

Chorus
I won't let you go
Even when you're sad, even if you ask me to
I want you to know
You can have my heart here for you to hold on to
I've been waiting all my life for you
Ah
Wait, wait
I won't let you go
Even when you're sad, even if you ask me to
I want you to know
You can have my heart here for you to hold on to
I've been waiting all my life for you
I've been waiting all my life for you
