Chaos - The Great Divide

To Rate
Verse 1
You've been told what to do
And you never ask them why
Fear is what's stopping you
From questioning the lie
Bound by fictitious rules
With a shaky root that rots
Driven blinded fools
And manipulated thoughts

Verse 2
Poisoned perception
Seeing things that are not there
The force that drives your every action
Is it the same everywhere?
Your fabricated reality
Your view of what's divine
Your standards of morality
They're not inline with mine
Chorus
Blatant misinterpretation
Guiding you and the things you do
Scriptures of mass misdirection
The great divide that unites you

Solo - Nikhil Wartooth

Chorus
Blatant misinterpretation
Guiding you and the things you do
Scriptures of mass misdirection
The great divide that unites you

Chorus
Blatant misinterpretation
Guiding you and the things you do
Scriptures of mass misdirection
The great divide that unites you

Chaos

Chaos was born on February 2, 1995 in Decatur, GA. He spent a great deal of his adolescence in metro Atlanta Georgia before moving to Kansas City, Missouri where he’d mature quickly to adapt to the newfound exposure to the complex infrastructure of the inner city. Guns, drugs, violence, and political and socio-economic corruption were commonplace and surrounded Chaos, but his ambition constantly kept him focused. Growing up this way sculpted and hardened him, while music provided the needed clarity to succeed.

Chaos was immediately drawn into the music, coming from a family with an extensive musical background. Chaos started writing as far back as he could speak, and was always focused; not on just music, but creating great music and fostering an environment that would consistently challenge your ideals and entertain the world.

Chaos began his career as a producer in 2007 with a demo version of FL Studio and has since produced for and worked alongside many talented major and independent acts. Being aware of his goals early on, Chaos adopted a Renaissance mindset, learning the ins-and-outs of music production, videography, photography, graphic design, and web development. Expanding his palette proved beneficial as his dreams began to come to fruition, a tireless work ethic and passion for progress molded Chaos into a unique commodity within the industry. Hands-on and heavily in the mix, Chaos has worked to hone his talents and create a genre-ambiguous alternative sound. Drawing influence from a wide range of artists like Bone Thugs N Harmony, Erykah Badu, Nirvana, Nina Simone, Outkast, and Lil Wayne, Chaos created a melodic, and bass-heavy style that’s truly unique to himself.

As an audio engineer Chaos has worked alongside some of the industry’s pioneers and modern-day trailblazers who have aided in shaping his perception of music and the industry along the way. By July 2010, Chaos was finally ready to take the next big leap. He meets a humble young talent, then known as Kool-ID, who was just beginning to define his sound and was in search of someone who could help take him to the next level. Needless to say, with Chaos being so impressed by the young producer, now known as DJ Kaui, he saw potential in something greater than themselves, an entertainment company built around the idea of empowering artists. Chao Pack was formed, and we’ve spent every day since trying to earn our wings.
