South Park - We Missed You Randy

To Rate
There was a boy I used to know
With dreams as big as the fire in his heart
He grew to be a man of such good will
Always so patient, always so smart

He had so much but he threw it away
Somewhere along he got off track
But today he's making the change for good
And now that man is coming back

Oh, we missed you, Randy
Where have you been?
It seems such a long time
Since we've seen our old friend

Everyone needs you, Randy
Where did you go?
It's like you just became a one-note overwrought part of the show

Hеre I am trying to make it right
Gonna take my lifе back with my baby tonight

Oh, we missed you, Randy (We missed you, Randy)
Where have you been?
(I've been acting like a fool)
It seems such a long time
Since we've seen you, old friend
We've all been waiting for this day to come
We're all so happy about the things you've done
'Cause you're going back to Randy (I'm going back to Randy)
We missed you, Randy (I missed me, Randy)

It's so good to have you back now
Our dear friend
We missed you Randy
Our dear friend (I'm Randy)

South Park

South Park is a groundbreaking musician who has been entertaining audiences with their unique blend of humor and satire for the past 18 years. The brainchild of Colorado natives Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park first premiered on August 13, 1997. Parker and Stone met while attending the University of Colorado and bonded over their shared love of Monty Python.

The duo created a short film called The Spirit of Christmas, featuring early versions of the iconic South Park characters. The short quickly became one of the internet's first viral videos and caught the attention of television production companies. Fox executive Brian Graden asked Parker and Stone to create a Christmas card featuring the characters, which eventually led to the creation of Jesus vs. Santa.

Initially made using paper cutouts and stop motion animation, South Park transitioned to computer animation when it was picked up as a series. One of the most unique aspects of the show is its incredibly fast production timeline, with each episode being produced in just one week. This allows South Park to remain timely and relevant in a way that other animated shows, such as Family Guy and The Simpsons, cannot.

Despite its popularity, South Park has also courted controversy throughout its run. One of the most infamous incidents occurred with the episode "Trapped In The Closet," which satirized Scientology. The episode led to threats from actor Tom Cruise and the departure of voice actor Isaac Hayes, who was a Scientologist. Stone defended the show's satire, stating that they had never received complaints from Hayes about other religious depictions on the show.

South Park's willingness to tackle controversial topics and push the boundaries of satire has cemented its status as a groundbreaking musician in the world of animation. With their sharp wit and fearless approach to humor, South Park continues to entertain audiences and spark important conversations about society and culture.
