★ Verse 1 ★ Bad guy, with precision explain the definition The indecision of this stressed case, what is a villain A militant killer, charges to face, long years in prison Or the clever, calculating mastermind to convict him I hate thinkin’ ‘bout the processes, how the world works You can’t draw conclusions, gotta be informed first ‘Cause there is a reason for every treason committed Is it a lie or a truth and will it please the defendant ‘Cause the Arabs don’t hate Europеans for nothin’ Flashback to Catholics crusadin’ armies upon ‘em And I'ma Christian but this ain’t about religion This about livеs at risk in the hands of zealous killing Genocides incited by broken, bitter civilians Revolutions against corrupt tyrants, the vile and wicked Why do they obtain the fame, wealth, and name If you wanna rule you gotta embrace the game’s ways So play, play, play ‘till Judgement Day When a higher power returns and comes down to say “You sold your soul for everything, appeared to be driven But when the sleep comes that pact gone follow with it” Let us see ahead and redirect our vision We livin’ in insolence, it’s iridescently hidden Just spin it in rotation to uncover the wisdom Our reflections are deceiving, the mirror mess with the image ★ Chorus ★ Who’s the bad guy I ask you now, who’s the bad guy (I got set up one too many times) Let’s put all the stereotypical stuff on halftime (I got set up one too many times, I) Look into the mirror and retrace through our sad lives (I got set up one too many times, I, I) Pry up off the mask and look into those mad eyes Who’s the bad guy I ask you now, who’s the bad guy (I got set up one too many times) Let’s put all the stereotypical stuff on halftime (I got set up one too many times, I) Look into the mirror and retrace through our sad lives (I got set up one too many times, I, I) Pry up off the mask and look into those mad eyes
★ Verse 2 ★ The art of manipulation Calmness disintegratin', my chill and patience, for real Make a big deal of nothing and kill with flagrance Don't even say that I took what you said wrong My sword drawn Spear comin' at'chu four-pronged But how am I rash, how This is my retaliation since you gotta bad mouth Yeah, so I gotta lash out I gotta stand up 'cause these suckers sat down And I don’t understand why physical toll beats mental Bruises will fade but the brain can never let go Misinterpret the perpetrator flirtin’ with, irkin’ the hate Murderers evolve from the learning of pain, I urgently say Surgery can’t replace memory, maybe it can, but science don’t perfect everything There’s better dreams but this is the cruel, cruel world Where family murders family and boys will hurt girls Villains can evolve from the worst situations But villains are all the cursed men who made them How can you love when the conflict rotates Circular reasoning always ends in no place, no way The blame always goes both ways An eye calls the shots but why do we obey One way to greatness, okay, then go pay But ain't nobody gonna save you when your road fades Like a setup Villainy is a small measure It's pressure Blindly tricks you when it befriends you There is no daunting conquest to rock Heaven The revolution ain't televised but we got the treasure ★ Refrain ★ I got set up one too many times (I got set up one too many times) I got set up one too many times, I (I got set up one too many times, I) I got set up one too many times, I, I (I got set up one too many times, one too many times) I got set up one too many times (I got set up) I got set up one too many times, I (Woah, one too many times) I got set up one too many times, I, I (One too many times, one too many times)
★ Outro ★ Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy Who’s the bad guy
