Even in his youth
Even in his youth
Even in his youth
He was nothing
Kept his body clean
Kept his body clean
Kept his body clean
Going nowhere
Daddy was ashamed
Daddy was ashamed
Daddy was ashamed
He was something
Disgrace the family name
Disgrace the family name
The family name, he was something

He was born for your crew
I've got nothing left to prove
If I die before I wake
Hope I don't come back asleep (Alt: Hope I don't come back a slave)

Even in his youth
Evеn in his youth
Even in his youth
He was nothing
Kept his body clеan
Kept his body clean
Kept his body clean
Going nowhere
Daddy was ashamed
Daddy was ashamed
He was ashamed, he was nothing
Disgrace the family name
Disgrace the family name
Family name, going nowhere
Leave this one, for your brew
I've got nothing left to prove
If I die before I wake
Hope I don't come back a slave
Aye-Yeah!

Leave this one, for your brew
I've got nothing left to prove
If I die before I wake
Hope I don't come back again
I'm dying!

Even in his youth
Even in his youth
Yeah, yeah
Even in his youth

Yeah, yeah
Even in his youth

Even in his youth
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

Nirvana

Nirvana was a pioneering force in the early 1990s grunge movement, hailing from Seattle, Washington. Formed in 1987 in Aberdeen, the band quickly rose to fame with the release of their iconic single “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and their groundbreaking album Nevermind in September 1991.

Led by the enigmatic and talented Kurt Cobain, Nirvana brought alternative rock to the mainstream, forever changing the musical landscape of the era. Alongside drummer Dave Grohl and bassist Krist Novoselic, Nirvana's music resonated with a generation and became a defining sound of the 90s.

Despite their immense success, tragedy struck the band in April 1994 when Cobain was found dead from an apparent suicide, leading to the disbandment of Nirvana. Grohl went on to form the wildly successful band Foo Fighters, while Novoselic pursued a solo career with less commercial success.

Even after Cobain's passing, Nirvana's legacy lived on, with their music continuing to influence and inspire generations of fans. Their impact on the music industry is undeniable, solidifying their place in American music history alongside legendary acts like The Beatles and Black Sabbath. Nirvana remains a beloved and revered band, forever etched in the hearts and ears of fans around the world.
