Felt alone in this world Watching and yearning as ‘Round me friendships unfurled Love I hoped I’d be learning Then you fell from the stars Glowing with joy to know me Grasped a hold of my heart Then shredded it to pieces
Lured me into your trap Hook, line and sinker I jumped into your net Chasing affirmation Felt like I had no worth but you made me Feel like I was deserving CPI, was so numb from all of the Hurt that you had been causing
Went down the wrong path I was too blind to see the Vivid crimson flags Completely oblivious The bridge has fallеn There is no going back My old self is shattеred Can’t put her back together
Got me used to it, then brought deficit Starved so ill, thought that I was ending Then came back again, had motivation To go forward, “was overreacting” All the while, my stability was Crumbling, ‘bout time for rebuilding Recycled and, jumping back again New and improved, my parida
Pa-pa-parida, pa-pa-pari-da Pa-pa-parida, pari-da New and improved, my parida Pa-pa-parida, pa-pa-pari-ida Pa-pa-parida, pari-da New and improved, my
Opportune time, when I hurt bad It was so easy for you to grab it Dagger pointing right at my back It wasn’t hard for you just to stab it Slathered oil all over my heart Struck a match, I quickly turned to ashes Built myself back, now my soul’s art Turn my back on my past when I-I
Went down the wrong path I was too blind to see that I would be shattered Can’t put me back together
Got me used to it, then brought deficit Starved so ill, thought that I was ending Then came back again, had motivation To go forward, “was overreacting” All the while, my stability was Crumbling, ‘bout time for rebuilding C recycled and jumping back again New and improved, my parida
You bu-bu-buried me up Six feet deep in the mud Now crawling from it, I rise like a lotus You bu-bu-built me up Knocked me down with one touch But I’ve bloomed from it, my body’s a lotus
Pa-pa-parida, pa-pa-pari-ida Pa-pa-parida, pari-ida ah (new and improved, my parida) Pa-pa-parida, pa-pa-pari-ida Pa-pa-parida, pari-ida ah (new and improved, my) Parida
