I should've quit you a long time ago
I shoulda quit you, baby, a long time ago
I shoulda quit you, pretty woman, and went on down to Mexico

If I had a-followed my first mind
If I had a-followed my first mind
I'd been gone, gone, gone, yeah, since my second time, yeah

I shoulda went on when my friend come from Mexico at me
I shoulda went on when my friend come from Mexico at me
But I'm not foolin' with ya, baby, I let ya put me on the killing floor

Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

God knows, shoulda been gone
Ooh, God knows, yeah, I shoulda been gone
And I wouldn't have been here down on the killing floor

And I wouldn't have been here down on the killing floor
And I would not be here down on the killing floor
Hey, now

Saul "Slash" Hudson was born on July 23, 1965, in Hampstead, London, England. He moved to Los Angeles with his family at a young age and it was there that he discovered his passion for music. Slash was drawn to the guitar from an early age and soon began honing his skills, eventually becoming one of the most talented and revered guitarists in the music industry.

Slash rose to fame as the lead guitarist for the iconic rock band Guns N' Roses. With his signature top hat and long curly hair, Slash became a rock icon known for his incredible guitar solos and stage presence. His work with Guns N' Roses, including hits like "Sweet Child o' Mine" and "November Rain," solidified his place as one of the greatest guitarists of his generation.

After leaving Guns N' Roses in the mid-1990s, Slash went on to form the band Velvet Revolver, which also included former GNR members Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. The band achieved commercial success with their debut album, "Contraband," and Slash solidified his reputation as a versatile and talented musician.

In addition to his work with Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, Slash has also released several solo albums and collaborated with a wide range of artists across different genres. He formed the band Slash's Snakepit and has worked with artists such as Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Fergie.
