Trying to keep my head straight got the urge to medicate Stuck in my mind, dragging my body like dead weight Holding in the drama like a bomb till it detonates Hate don't hesitate a mantra that resonates Each smile a bluff joker like the poker channel I meditate and look for the light like a solar panel Used to fight friends with smoke bombs and roman candles Nostalgia's a sweet nectar that slowly dismantles The dopamine dies how do you water your soul seed? I roam the city lonely and let the poems speak Used to sip lean till my lungs would move at slow speeds If I was a weed well I guess I would be goat weed I shall proceed To quest for love and water the roots and whole seed I eat champs for breakfast I'm already on my next shit The beat killed my dog, I'm john wick with a death wish Gun powder the beverage, metaphor chest hit I'm on the gallows guest list hangman got me a necklace Executioner's neck slit, my shadow at the exit Grand slam success no matter your best pitch Body your whole team with bars make every member quit Dream technology, this is alchemy remember this The sun retreats, the city foggy like dry ice I'm in my astral plane trying to get it to fly right I wrote this verse in the clouds so you could see the sky write Your clout fools gold pyrite, snake eyes my eyesight I animate at twilight I'm throwing all of my dice 7 or 11 I'm just hoping that they lie right Until I'm under a wood coffin like a typewrite Shrooms got me seeing tie dye I'm Conor with bright eyes Crown chakra skylight, vision with a violet highlight I'm carbon that's finite, my soul is my kite When we die do we wake from a dream and start to laugh? Or do we go to the next realm on our soul's path Do we get to see everyone we used to love? Or does it fade to static and we rot in the mud? I'm pulling Ariadne's string running from the Minotaur His head hit the floor when I got Theseus's sword Knowledge born, ancient bars written on cuneiform Thoughts from the deepest gorge, lotus tea I pour The wind whispers I’m walking in the sand dunes Stars like half notes dance with a jazz moon Sangre de Christos, the mountains and the land bloom I saw someone laying face down it was me that I ran too I flipped his body over, I saw his hand move He pulled my spirit back, I woke up on my back too I guess even when asleep, you're on the path too I guess even when asleep, that's Paulo's Path too

Time
Time was a rock band from Yugoslavia that made a significant impact on the music scene in the 1970s. Formed in 1971 by Dado Topić, who had previously been a member of Korni Grupa, the band quickly gained a following with their unique blend of progressive rock and jazz influences.
The original lineup of Time included Dado Topić on vocals, Tihomir “Pop” Asanović on organ, Vedran Božić on guitar, Mario Mavrin on bass, Ratko Divjak on drums, and Brane Lambert Živković on piano and flute. Over the years, the lineup changed frequently, but the core members remained dedicated to creating innovative and captivating music.
Time released three albums during their time together, each showcasing their musical versatility and talent. Their first album featured a prominent Hammond organ, piano, and flute, while their second album had a harder sound with several ballads. The third album introduced a jazz-funk production style, further expanding their musical repertoire.
Some of Time's most popular songs include “Da li znaš da te volim”, “Rock ‘n’ roll u Beogradu”, and “Istina mašina”, which showcased their ability to create memorable and engaging music that resonated with audiences.
After disbanding in late 1977, Dado Topić embarked on a successful solo career, but the legacy of Time continued to live on. In 1998 and 2001, the band reunited for a limited number of live concerts, delighting fans with their timeless music and energetic performances.
Today, Time still plays together as a rock trio, continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound and enduring musical legacy. Their influence can be heard in the work of many contemporary artists, solidifying their place in the history of Yugoslavian rock music.
