NEFFEX - Learning To Let Go

To Rate
intro
Hey, hey, hey, hey, woah-oh
Hey, hey, hey, hey

chorus
Yeah, i'm all alone and still learning to let go
I'll carry on my own and find out where i belong
And i just need to move on, i have hope
I'm open to a new place, a new road
I'm on my own, but i'm better off alone
Yeah, i'm better off alone

verse 1
And i wake up to a new day
In the same place with a new flame
It's not too late, i'll be okay
Leave behind all that led to my pain
And i know it's never really ever quite perfect
(never really ever quite perfect)
But i know the hardest things are always worth it

chorus
Yeah, i'm all alone and still learning to let go
I'll carry on my own and find out where i belong
And i just need to move on, i have hope
I'm open to a new place, a new road
I'm on my own, but i'm better off alone
Yeah, i'm better off alone
bridge
Got demons in my head, they’re better off dead
I'll find a way to kill this sorrow
Got demons in my head, i used to regret
Be in a better place tomorrow
Got demons in my head, they’re better off dead
I'll find a way to kill this sorrow
Got demons in my head, i used to regret
Be in a better place tomorrow

verse 2
And i wake up to a new day
In the same place with a new flame
I will make change, i will make a new life

chorus
Yeah, i'm all alone and still learning to let go
I'll carry on my own and find out where i belong
And i just need to move on, i have hope
I'm open to a new place, a new road
I'm on my own, but i'm better off alone
Yeah, i'm better off alone

outro
Hey, hey, hey, hey, woah-oh
Hey, hey, hey, hey

Horth and Wales started their musical journey at a young age, forming a Punk Rock band when they were just 15 years old. In 2015, they came together to create NEFFEX and began releasing music that garnered attention for its quality and dedication. In February 2017, they embarked on a project called “100 songs in 100 weeks”, releasing a new song each week for 100 weeks. This endeavor not only showcased their commitment to their craft but also helped them build a strong following.

One of the standout features of NEFFEX's music is that all of their songs are copyright-free, allowing content creators to use their music in YouTube videos and other productions without licensing fees. This decision further elevated their profile and contributed to their growing success during the “100 in 100” period.

In 2021, the duo decided to part ways, with Cam Wales pursuing his own musical endeavors. Brandon continued on as NEFFEX, releasing the album "New Beginnings" in 2020. With his solo work, Brandon has continued the tradition of weekly releases and copyright-free music, staying true to the band's original vision.

NEFFEX's impact on the music industry goes beyond their catchy tunes and energetic performances. Their dedication to creating music that inspires and motivates others has solidified their place as a dynamic and influential force in the independent music scene.
