Tyler Gregory Okonma, known professionally as Tyler, The Creator, was born on March 6, 1991, in California. He rose to fame in the early 2010s as a founding member of the rap collective, Odd Future. Known for his explosive personality and absurdist lyrical content, Tyler quickly gained recognition in the hip-hop community.
In 2009, Tyler released his debut mixtape, Bastard, which showcased his raw talent and unique style. He followed this up with his debut studio album, Goblin, in 2011, under XL Recordings.
