Verse 1: CHRIS GR3EN
Life just keep on playing me, feel like God is hating me
For my bad decisions I keep making, pray he changes me
Searching for my enemy, but he lives inside of me
Falling away from the music 'cause I'm hating what it tries to bе
Lot of these niggas, they lying to mе
Some of them kept it real to me
Most of the world is fake, looking for 15 minutes of fame
We gonna go down in flames, life is playing, part of the game
Liquor, Mary Jane, pills and that cocaine
Niggas sniffing bath salts, watch them to turn to zombies mane
Ripping through asphalt, concrete jungles terrain
Ripping through cash vaults, but money won't matter in the last days
Ay, we all die and then we try and get paid
2012 bullets flying like bug spray
Fuck what them thugs say
That's what they calling me
'Cause my skin's black so I need authority
Generation Y
Verse 2: Devon Hendryx
Uh, bitch I live for the moment
Generation Y sipping Ibuprofen and feeling hopeless
Addy, you keep me focused, I used to be alone
You met me on that weekend and put me in my zone
I know you'll never love me, but I keep that hope alive
So fuck these other niggas, they'll never do or die
I keep your contact like Grand Theft Auto carjacks
So if we ever break up I'll shoot you and get my money back, bitch
Love Jones, cocaine is like confetti
Steady hand when you chopping, sniff that line if you ready
When you hit that line, you gon' get taken to another planet
I ain't talkin future, bruh, Pluto Mars or Jupiter
Seeing red like Lucifer, baby girl what you moving for?
If you can't handle this then don't fuck with shit that you can't afford
Uh, we living life in the fast lane
But we gon' slow it down for the max pain
Generation Y, motherfucker

Devon Hendryx

Devon Hendryx, also known as "The Rockwood Escape Plan," was a rapper and producer who was active in the music scene from around 2007 to 2012. During this time, he released five albums and experimented heavily with different genres, showcasing his versatility and talent as an artist.

Hendryx's first release, "Dreamcast Summer Songs," came out in 2009 and was created in 2007. This instrumental album utilized a sound that would later become known as Vaporwave, setting the stage for his future musical endeavors.

As he continued to evolve as an artist, Hendryx began incorporating rapping and production into his work. He released two hip hop albums, "JOECHILLWORLD" and "The Rockwood Escape Plan," in 2011 and 2012, respectively. His experimental approach and blunt wordplay gained him a dedicated online fanbase and solidified his reputation as a boundary-pushing artist.

In addition to his albums, Hendryx also released a few EPs, including "LISA" with Enso Sinatra and "Heart Emoji," although these projects have since been deleted and are considered less popular compared to his full-length releases.

Hendryx's final album under his original moniker was "THE GHOST POP TAPE," which came out in 2013. This project saw him moving away from traditional rapping and instead exploring an ethereal, droned-out vapor-wave-esque R&B sound, with themes of suicide prevalent throughout the record.

Following the release of "THE GHOST POP TAPE," Hendryx made the decision to change his name to JPEGMAFIA and launched a new Bandcamp page under his new alias. This marked a new chapter in his musical career, as he continued to push boundaries and experiment with his sound under his new identity. Through his work as Devon Hendryx and later as JPEGMAFIA, he has left a lasting impact on the music industry and continues to be celebrated for his innovative approach to music.
