Stan Kenton - Lonely Windrose

To Rate
Intro
We want to welcome you here this evening
And I can't tell you how long I've looked forward
To recording in this wonderful concert hall
For those of you that'll be listening later
This is Clowes Memorial Hall
Located on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis
Tonight's going to be a lot of fun
Because there gonna be a lot of different things happening
On the stage here this evening
You're going to meet the composers, they're all here
And from time to time they'll be coming to the stage
You'll get acquainted with
Not only the music that they write and compose
But, uh, how they perform, what they look like, and so forth
I don't think that we've ever
Been associated with a more romantic writer than Ken Hanna
This is one of his newer things
A very poignant piece of music titled "Lonely Windrose"
