Jaira Burns - Know Me To Well

To Rate
I hate being stoned, headed home alone
Back seat of an Uber
I'm a little drunk, home T-One
But I feel like a loser

You call me out on my flaws
But I keep on telling you it's not my fault
Try to keep it out my thoughts
So I just keep drinking until it's forgot
'Cause I'd rather be alone
In a room full of strangers that I don't know

Than be home with the one who knows me too well
Yeah, you know me too well
'Cause I'd rather see a new face in a new place
Don't even know my name, it's a long way
The one who knows me too well
Yeah you know me too well

I know that you care
This ain't truth or dare
Won't dare you to show me
I still have my doubts
With you or without
I'm still fucking lonely
You call me out on my flaws
But I keep on telling you it's not my fault
Try to keep it out my thoughts
So I just keep drinking until it's forgot
'Cause I'd rather be alone
In a room of strangers that I don't know

Than be home with the one who knows me too well
Yeah, you know me too well
'Cause I'd rather see a new face in a new place
Don't even know my name, it's a long way
The one who knows me too well
Yeah you know me too well

Yeah you me too well eh
Boy, you know, you know me too well
Boy you know it yeah
'Cause I'd rather be alone
In a room of strangers that I don't know
Than be home with the one who knows me too well
Yeah, you know me too well
(You know me too well)

Yes, the first memory that I can recall I was about 6 years old in the back of my parent’s car on the way to my grandparents to go swimming when “Sugar Sugar” by Babybash came on. I remember singing along and asking my mom to turn it up. Yes, growing up I always wanted to be someone others could look up to. Music was always my passion so I knew that is what I would do."
