Brooklyn Queen - Talk Is Cheap

To Rate
I know you gone sit around and act like
You ain't dealing with the "Queen"
You better act right
Bag heavy, don’t you ever think we pack light
I can clear your yearly on a bad night
Its enough with the young jokes!
Everybody coming for me but don't come close
We ain't got to talk numbers
We the ones though
Had the city jumping since hop scotch and jump rope
Talk ain’t cheap and you can't afford it
20, 000 for a feature, that ain't metaphoric
How you buzzing in the city where you ain't supported
You ain't making all that noise, Boy you distorted
Its a different type of talk now
We don't talk loud
All this flavor in my sauce
Why they throwing salt down
Seeing stars in the whip like they let the top down
Now they all jumping ships cause we taking off now!
Cut em off if they can't deal with me
Whole team made of metal cause they steal with me
Minor with a major deal
How they gone deal with me?
You'll get sick around this ice
You can’t chill with me
They don’t want the credit
They just want the clout
They want a reason to be mad
I'm a help them out
If you tryna make a play
You better make it count
Well respected
They salute me when I come around
I’ve been on the road like I need a map
They knew I was a gift once they see me rap
They ask me if I'm single
I ain't in to that
Yeah the mission bigger
I ain't tryna get attached
I’ve been on the run
Yeah I'm tryna run through it
Waking up my palms
Just to try to thumb through it
Try to make it make sense
They don't come to it
Fake love
Used to know the feeling
Now I'm numb to it
If you wanna know the difference
This is what it is
You'll never get it
I was born to get it in
Every town on my wave
I'm a city trend
And the schedule getting hectic
I can't fit them in
Big Goals, Big dreams
I want big money
Young Boss, Little homie
All ya'll big homies
Grown folks big mad
Cause I'm big stunting
If you could do what i was doing
You would have been done it
Talk ain't cheap and you can't afford it
20, 000 for a feature, that ain't metaphoric
How you buzzing in the city where you ain't supported
You ain't making all that noise, Boy you distorted
Its a different type of talk now
We don't talk loud
All this flavor in my sauce
Why they throwing salt down
Seeing stars in the whip like they let the top down
Now they all jumping ships cause we taking off now!
Cut em off if they can't deal with me
Whole team made of metal cause they steal with me
Minor with a major deal
How they gone deal with me?
You'll get sick around this ice
You can't chill with me
They don't want the credit
They just want the clout
They want a reason to be mad

Brooklyn Queen

Inspired by gratitude, positivity and Beyoncé, 15-year-old Brooklyn Queen wrote her first song at age five. The Detroit native fulfilled an early dream of releasing that song on her 2017 debut album Queens Corner. Since 2020 began, she has released nine new singles as of July, and has five more already lined up for release.

Brooklyn Queen has already built a powerful and loyal fan base. “I want to make it clear to young girls that anything is possible if you just follow your dreams,” she asserts.

Backed by BMB Entertainment and The Orchard, Brooklyn will set her vision to new heights as a multi-faceted artist, actress and credible teen influencer.
