Jebril Ali Karfa Saleh, known professionally as Jaks Ali, was born on September 10, 2004, in Marseille, France. He is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who has quickly made a name for himself in the music industry.

Inspired by artists like Nicki Minaj and Drake, Jaks Ali made his debut with his first single "Assholes" in March 2019, although the track has since been deleted from streaming platforms. Following this, he released his debut EP titled Jaks in July 2019, which featured no collaborations. In this EP, he showcased his rap skills with tracks like "Why?" and "My Phone."

Continuing to build his discography, Jaks Ali released "If You Want You Can" in November 2019 and "Be Your Man" in January 2020, both of which were the first singles off his debut mixtape, Foreva. In October 2020, he dropped Jaks Ali Remix's, an exclusive album on YouTube featuring remixes of popular songs like "WAP" and "POPSTAR."

After a brief hiatus, Jaks Ali made his return to streaming platforms in March 2021 with "Lie for Me," followed by a 2-pack single titled "Prada Mode." On his 17th birthday, September 10, he released his sophomore EP entitled 17, which includes the tracks "Prada Mode (Remix)" and "Lie for Me."
