T.M.M. was created in fall of 2017 at the University of Maryland in College Park. Comprised of the individuals Tim Henderson, Matt Graber, and Matt Vorsteg, T.M.M. specializes in a style of country/folk and anything else they feel like that has been referred to by both its members and its fans as “dad music.”

Their first album, Songs of Life and Living, was recorded and produced by their friend John Ball and features Jasmine Lim on two of its tracks. Shortly thereafter, T.M.M. released their first single, “Turkey Day Dreams,” helping to remedy the dearth of Thanksgiving-related music available to the masses. It featured the debut professional performance of the legendary tenor sax-player Nate Rogers, who has since continued on to achieve many great professional accomplishments.

The second album, In Search of Something New, features an ensemble of featured artists, including the return of Jasmine Lim, John Ball, and Nate Rogers, while bringing in the newcomers Emily Whittaker, Matt Polvinale, Hansae Kwon, Brian Kim, and The Second Floor.

T.M.M.’s third album, Freedom School, released in September 2021. Possibly the final T.M.M. album for a long time, the album wraps up their discography with some of their most complex songwriting and performances to date.
