Biography
She likes to call her genre Afro-Diverse. Which is a fusion of African sounds with variety of genres such as Soul, Pop, Jazz and World Music .
She realized her talent for music from a very tender age. She started performing in large audiences (10,000+) from the age of 9.
She and 2 of her friends ,(Yetunde Mosunmola and Oyelami Oyebisi) started a music girl group way back in secondary school called TLC ,protégé of the renowned American girl group called TLC.
Her passion for music continued to grow even while studying Economic at Bowen University, where she was fondly called Celine Dion.
On getting back from Cardiff Wales, United Kingdom where she barged her Master Degree in Business, She entered into the mainstream Nigerian music singing Contemporary Afro Diverse music with strong deep meanings, with the intent of bringing back the past African sounds and songs to the present and for the future generations to listen to and learn from like she did while growing up.
Ìfé as fondly called is an African woman, with vocal range that breaks glass.
Her Afro diverse style of music ranges from Afro-Soul, Afro-Pop, Afro-Classical, Afro-Jazz and Afro-Beat, songs.
Her singing style is being compared to music legends such as Angelique Kidjo, Whitney Houston, Asa, Alicia Keys and Celine Dion.
She is known as OloriAfrica meaning Queen of Africa.
She has performed in numerous events such as One Lagos Fiesta , Miss Ideal Nigeria , Inauguration of Ondo state Governor , Food and Culture festival , AFRIMA music village, and many more.
Her music has transcended from radio and Television into various Movie soundtracks.
She released her first EP called “IFE” in 2016 comprising of 4 Original songs and 3 covers, in 2017 she released another EP called “AFRICAN WOMAN” comprising of 6 original songs, another EP called “JUPA” comprising of 3 original dances songs and a Christmas Album called “Gift Of Christmas”.
OloriAfrica is truly a talent to watch out for now and in many more years to come.
