Ian Santillano - Now Until Forever

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1150186
Said what's the point in even doing this
You know you and me ain’t got what we need
All I think about is you in this
State we were in every night excited

But that's gone now changed into those songs now
Flipped and I'm the sad one
It was true then we’d be in opposite
Feeling good feel like shit now

Chorus:
And I love it when you say I love you first
I'd love it if you tried to make it work
Cause I'm all like bending over backwards
Just to hear the truth hurts
Cause I love you now until forever
All I'm feeling now is miserablе
A limbo of thoughts wondering where it wеnt wrong
Can't escape the unavoidable
Inevitably is the end of our lease

I'm pre-heartbroken I'm crying in my bed
Over some words you just had said
You want stable settle down and able
To make you a table I can not provide

Chorus:
I love it when you say I love you first
And I'd love it if you tried to make it work
Cause I’m all like bending over backwards
Just to hear the truth hurts
I love you now until forever

Woah woah woah woah (yeah yeah)
Can’t stop thinking of
Can't stop thinking of (no no)
Can’t stop
Woah woah woah woah woah
Can't stop
Can't stop
Can't stop thinking of (oh)
Chorus:
And I love it when you say I love you first
I’d love it if you tried to make it work
Cause I'm all like bending over backwards
I can't lie the truth hurts
I love you now until forever

If you don't love me anymore (anymore)
What are we even doing this for (now until forever)
If you don't love me anymore (yeah yeah yeah)
What are we even doing this for (now until forever)
If you don't love me anymore (yeah)
What are we even doing this for (yeah uh)
If you don't love me anymore (yeah)
What are we even doing this for

Biography

edit bio
From Hayward, California, multi-instrumentalist Ian Santillano started teaching himself how to play a real guitar after years of playing Guitar Hero. Soon after, Ian’s cousin introduced him to John Mayer’s “Continuum” and Ian’s life changed forever. Discovering D'Angelo’s “Voodoo” and later Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” along with all the musicians involved in making those records would play a huge role in shaping Ian’s melodic-funky-soulful sound. In college, Ian would sharpen his music skills through hours of practice and private lessons in the Santa Clara University music program, learning jazz and music theory – all whilst getting a degree in computer engineering. Now at 24, Ian explores his own artistry by writing, arranging, producing, and recording original music with his guitars, his instruments, and his voice. Lush pads, funky drums, dreamy vocals, and aggressive guitar solos become a bed for Ian to lyricise his message of honesty and self experience – whether it be about love, indecision, or admitting one’s faults. Ian has a sound all his own: “Greasy Mayer” – melodic funky soul singer-songwriter with a touch of jazz vocabulary.
