SCRIBING

Verse 1
They say your high school love
Is build for bad relationships
Findin' out what love is
Or more like the opposite
A series of short rides and bumpy hills to climb
A memory lane that ain't always pretty
Though with you and me
It ain't like they said it would be
Tell me

Pre-Chorus
Does a heart need to break to feel what it feels like?
Rainin' in pieces
Don't make sense what they say
Tell me there must be some kind of reason

Chorus
And right now I'm supposed to find some boy who's
Pretty, sweet and cute and ❲?❳ like
Maybe I'm out there too
Then find out he's been seein' somebody else
And cry to myself
And right now I'm supposed to find some boy who
Treats me right, calls me every night but he
Don't give me butterflies
But I still learn from the hurt, just to say that I did
But I'm not tryna good at bad relationships

Verse 2
I knew it the first look
Even told it to my friends (Told it to my friends)
Call me an optimist
But when I'm with him, it feels like common sense
And I know that right now I can't know he's the one
But I don't see the reason

Chorus
And right now I'm supposed to find some boy who's
Pretty, sweet and cute and ❲?❳ like
Maybe I'm out there too
Then find out he's been seein' somebody else
And cry to myself
And right now I'm supposed to find some boy who
Treats me right, calls me every night but he
Don't give me butterflies
But I still learn from the hurt, just to say that I did
But I'm not tryna good at bad relationships

hi i’m jordana! i’m 18 years old, i’m from a small town in pennsylvania (but i live in nashville now) and i love writing songs! probably more than breathing :) getting to share how i’m feeling with people through music is one of my favorite things! i can’t remember a time when i didn’t know that music is what i want to do with my life. it’s just always been such a fundamental part of me. that’s probably because i feel like i experience everything through music. when something exciting happens, i write a song about it. when i’m going through something difficult, i write a song about it. it’s just always been my go-to response for whatever’s happening in my life.
