ILAY - Midsummer Confessions

Feel the heat on mid-May
I rest assure on your face
The timing where I lay
I saw you with my friend
I asked you to come with me
To go ride with me
Where the sun always sets
On horizon

We planned the place we'll meet
And ready to dance with heat
Called some friends to join us
And travelled out
This is my chance to confess out to you
To tell you something that I won't regret
(won’t regret)


I have words to say
Taking too long to speak
Now is the time to meet
I’m taking all the risk
If you stay with me
Your eyes would glisten in glee
With words never empty
If you’d only choose me

I’m on the top of this confession
But you are still in the summit
And above out of my league
Yet this plan I made gives me
Hope to lead, I’m believing (believin’)
And I talk to you from time to time
While there’s nothing between us
Every time you fell out-of-place
(Now you left me with no trace)
