BROCKHAMPTON - ZONA

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1610032
Verse 1: Merlyn Wood
Won't take off my armor now
Can't afford not to splurge on her
Had to break down the Berlin Wall
Just to come talk to ya
Who hurt ya? I'll break his jaw
Young, handsome, with major plans
Know I'm harsh to my consonance
Know I'm harsh to my consonance
Make her run like the Boston bomb
I'm the one, yeah, the one she wants
Wanna love me like Wimbledon
Raise the volume, ring alarm
Hands on my girl, it's a charm
Got passion, don't call it loud
Don't tell my shorty, "Settle down"
I wear out like a hand-me-down
Don't say I'm too big for ya
Man, my head big, it's fallin' off
But I fit, no problem
Make it fit like nuts and bolts
One nut and I'm boltin' off
Your ex income minimum
Baby run with some biggеr dons
Baby run with some bigger dons
I got the cash and it last 'causе I dash to the bag
My ice white like rice, diamonds flash like the light, ayy

Pre-Chorus: Merlyn Wood
Bet you wished I had liked that
Bet you wished I had liked that
Bet you wished I had liked that, ayy

Chorus: Matt Champion, (Merlyn Wood)
Deep in my bed, I can't sleep in my bed
I put cash in my pillowcase ((I put racks on my lil bitch))
I can't sleep in my bed, I can't sleep in my bed
I put cash in my pillowcase (( I put racks on that lil bitch))

Biography

edit bio
BROCKHAMPTON is an LA-based boyband that was originally formed in San Marcos, Texas in 2015. The group was founded by high school friends Ian “Kevin Abstract” Simpson and Ameer Vann, who initially formed a group called ALIVESINCEFOREVER in 2012. After releasing their debut EP, The ASF EP, in 2013, the group disbanded at the end of 2014 and rebranded themselves as BROCKHAMPTON.

The band consists of a diverse roster of creatives, including musicians, graphic designers, producers, and videographers, who come together to create a mix of content. Named after the street that Kevin Abstract grew up on in Corpus Christi, TX, BROCKHAMPTON was founded out of a desire for connection and friendship.

In 2015, BROCKHAMPTON gained recognition with the release of their song “Dirt” on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, marking a breakthrough moment in their career. The following year, they released their debut mixtape, ALL-AMERICAN TRASH, and in 2017, they gained popularity with the release of their debut album, SATURATION, followed by SATURATION II and SATURATION III later that year.

After signing with RCA Records in 2018, the band faced challenges with the dismissal of rapper Ameer Vann due to sexual assault allegations. Despite this setback, BROCKHAMPTON released their fourth album, iridescence, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album marked the beginning of a new trilogy titled THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

In 2019, BROCKHAMPTON released their fifth full-length record, GINGER, which showcased their versatility and creativity as a group. With a lineup that includes members such as Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Russell “Joba” Boring, and more, BROCKHAMPTON continues to push boundaries and redefine the boyband genre with their unique sound and collaborative spirit.
