BROCKHAMPTON - ONE FIFTY

Copied!edit Lyrics
original text at lyrnow.com/1689134
Intro : bearface
We should move over right
Move to the shade of your backseat, so we can lay
We should move over right
Move to the shade of your backseat so we can lay

Verse 1 : bearface
One sixty on the dash in your A6
Spin around shit like you tryna get me sick
Hand on the wheel, with your finger on my lip
When you tryna get it in?
When you tryna get it in girl?
Cause you know that I want you, I need it, I love ya, I see it

Chorus : Dijon
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you when the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outsidе
Ok, then imma
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you whеn the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outside
Ok, then imma

Verse 2 : Matt Champion
I took a road trip, in your Bronco
And if it's broke, we'll fix it up for tomorrow
Grab some buckweed, sipping some lemonade
❲?❳ like Gene Harlow
I got an ounce for ya, no sound for ya
Money don't matter, I'm spending all that
We got a car full, and we ain't ever going home
Lay on my body in between the thunderstorm
Every summer, hey-ah
Something bout ya, hey-ah
I'm grateful for all the things that you do for me
You would bust a tooth for me, get loose for me, show me love, show me -

Chorus : Dijon
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you when the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outside
Ok, then imma
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you when the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outside
Ok, then imma

Verse 3 : Joba
Drive me coocoo, you my booboo
Snap a pic at the MOMA
Got caught up with the wrong side of the ballpark
Not a real one, but this the real thing
In the rental, stain the seat yo
Late nights behind durego
Help me stand on my own 2 feet now
Been thinking you could be all I need now
You can be yin, you can be yang
You're my yin yang, my main things, my main main
Gotta slow down, they say
Make a feel a type of way these days
Close my eyes and I see your face
My heart just beats like the digital gauge and I floor it
Watch your hair blow, you're gorgeous

Bridge : Ryan Beatty
Love me in my eyes
Tell me it's alright
Don't leave me out, when I give you my all
And when the sun goes
Will you keep me close?
Another night I can't spend on my own

Chorus : Dijon
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you when the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outside
Ok, then imma
One fifty on the dash
Imma hit you when the phone ring twice
Ok, then imma meet you outside
Ok, then imma

Biography

edit bio
BROCKHAMPTON is an LA-based boyband that was originally formed in San Marcos, Texas in 2015. The group was founded by high school friends Ian “Kevin Abstract” Simpson and Ameer Vann, who initially formed a group called ALIVESINCEFOREVER in 2012. After releasing their debut EP, The ASF EP, in 2013, the group disbanded at the end of 2014 and rebranded themselves as BROCKHAMPTON.

The band consists of a diverse roster of creatives, including musicians, graphic designers, producers, and videographers, who come together to create a mix of content. Named after the street that Kevin Abstract grew up on in Corpus Christi, TX, BROCKHAMPTON was founded out of a desire for connection and friendship.

In 2015, BROCKHAMPTON gained recognition with the release of their song “Dirt” on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, marking a breakthrough moment in their career. The following year, they released their debut mixtape, ALL-AMERICAN TRASH, and in 2017, they gained popularity with the release of their debut album, SATURATION, followed by SATURATION II and SATURATION III later that year.

After signing with RCA Records in 2018, the band faced challenges with the dismissal of rapper Ameer Vann due to sexual assault allegations. Despite this setback, BROCKHAMPTON released their fourth album, iridescence, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album marked the beginning of a new trilogy titled THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

In 2019, BROCKHAMPTON released their fifth full-length record, GINGER, which showcased their versatility and creativity as a group. With a lineup that includes members such as Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Russell “Joba” Boring, and more, BROCKHAMPTON continues to push boundaries and redefine the boyband genre with their unique sound and collaborative spirit.
