original text at lyrnow.com/1957561
verse 1: kevin abstract
Runnin' in the south still, baby
Holdin' it down still, baby
Running your mouth still, baby
Runs, like baby
Why you still trippin' 'bout the past?
Just another class say yo, yo, yo
Just another class say yo, yo, yo
Niggas in my class, yeah, they jokes
I ain't got no more notes, can't be broke no more
Havin' them dreams 'bout dough
This the part where i go
Just spazz on 'em, dawg
Like the light beam
Everybody around me, they want some nice things

chorus: ryan beatty
Sometimes you remind me to see
A little loving is all that i need
Don't get up, don't get the door
Don't get up, don't get the door
I hope i love you the way that i should
You made mе feel so understood
Don't get up, don't get thе door
Don't get up, don't get the door

verse 2: kevin abstract
Baby, right by the mufuckin' seaside, dawg
Everything i see, i got a dream
I thought these leaves would go and take me out the dark
I knew everything i wanted too far away
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yuh, yuh, yuh, yuh
I know everything i want ain't that far, far, far
Yuh, yuh, yuh, yuh, yuh

chorus: ryan beatty & kevin abstract
Sometimes you remind me to see
A little loving is all that i need
Don't get up, don't get the door
Don't get up, don't get the door
I hope i love you the way that i should
You made me feel so understood
Don't get up, don't get the door (yuh, yuh, yuh, yuh)
Don't get up, don't get the door (yuh, yuh, yuh, yuh)

verse 3: matt champion
Show me down when you round that's nothing new to you
Quick say your peace, but where's the fun in that
Just know it coming back, coming out for blood yeah, yeah
I can bet on that, that's without a track
So don't come running back, got get that new view
Cuz everyone around here is so done witchu

verse 4: kevin abstract
Pull up, i show out
We both men, so i don't pull out
Nigga like me, i show down (yeah)
Look how good my show does (yeah)
Look, everybody gonna go off (yeah)
I ain't even have to take my shirt off
First concert do 2k, also y'all can sue me (yeah)
Stop at the gas station, go and get me a slurpee

chorus: ryan beatty
Sometimes you remind me to see
A little loving is all that i need
Don't get up, don't get the door
Don't get up, don't get the door
I hope i love you the way that i should
You made me feel so understood
Don't get up, don't get the door
Don't get up, don't get the door

Biography

edit bio
BROCKHAMPTON is an LA-based boyband that was originally formed in San Marcos, Texas in 2015. The group was founded by high school friends Ian “Kevin Abstract” Simpson and Ameer Vann, who initially formed a group called ALIVESINCEFOREVER in 2012. After releasing their debut EP, The ASF EP, in 2013, the group disbanded at the end of 2014 and rebranded themselves as BROCKHAMPTON.

The band consists of a diverse roster of creatives, including musicians, graphic designers, producers, and videographers, who come together to create a mix of content. Named after the street that Kevin Abstract grew up on in Corpus Christi, TX, BROCKHAMPTON was founded out of a desire for connection and friendship.

In 2015, BROCKHAMPTON gained recognition with the release of their song “Dirt” on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, marking a breakthrough moment in their career. The following year, they released their debut mixtape, ALL-AMERICAN TRASH, and in 2017, they gained popularity with the release of their debut album, SATURATION, followed by SATURATION II and SATURATION III later that year.

After signing with RCA Records in 2018, the band faced challenges with the dismissal of rapper Ameer Vann due to sexual assault allegations. Despite this setback, BROCKHAMPTON released their fourth album, iridescence, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. The album marked the beginning of a new trilogy titled THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.

In 2019, BROCKHAMPTON released their fifth full-length record, GINGER, which showcased their versatility and creativity as a group. With a lineup that includes members such as Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, Dom McLennon, Russell “Joba” Boring, and more, BROCKHAMPTON continues to push boundaries and redefine the boyband genre with their unique sound and collaborative spirit.
