Capital STEEZ
Huh?
Have you ever been outside of New York?
Yeah, last time I left was when I went to Pennsylvania to finish up my first mixtape
Mhm
It was called "The Yellow Tape"
Oh, okay
Nobody knows about that
How— How old were you when you did that?
Jakk Blakk
I was sixteen. My homie Jakk, Jakk The Rhymer, he's in Pennsylvania right now
Oh, okay
I started rhyming with him when I was in... fifth grade? That's when we— I knew him since kindergarten
Yeah
Like, that's my homie. He's actually a part of Pro Era
Oh, okay
Like, we got this song called "Shooting Stars". It's unreleased, but it's dope
Mhm. And, so you—
Shout-out to that man
Yeah, definitely. Shouts-out to the homie Jakk

Biography

edit bio
Jakk Da Rhymer, whose real name is Jahkari Jack, is a rapper hailing from Philadelphia, PA. He is best known as a member and co-founder of the rap collective Dark Chip Syndicate.

Before his involvement with Dark Chip Syndicate, Jakk Da Rhymer was a prominent member of the rap collective Pro Era. He was one of the early members of Pro Era, closely associated with fellow member Courtney “Jamal” Dewar, also known as Capital STEEZ. Jakk was also part of the 47 subgroup within Pro Era, which included Capital STEEZ, Dirty Sanchez, Jab47, and Rokamouth.

Jakk Da Rhymer's musical journey began in fourth grade when he and his best friend Courtney formed a rap duo called Saturday Morning Breakfast. Jakk was known as Excalibur while Courtney went by Blowtorch. As they grew older, they changed their names to BlakkJakk and JaY STeeZ, forming a new rap duo called The 3rd Kind. Together, they released a mixtape titled The Yellow Tape in 2010. However, they parted ways shortly after the release, changing their names once again to Jakk The Rhymer and Capital STEEZ.

In 2011, Capital STEEZ co-founded Pro Era, and Jakk Da Rhymer soon became associated with the collective. He appeared on Capital STEEZ's solo mixtape AmeriKKKan Korruption in 2012. Tragically, Capital STEEZ passed away later that year, and Jakk Da Rhymer appeared on only a few more Pro Era tracks before seemingly distancing himself from the collective.

In early 2016, Jakk Da Rhymer co-founded Dark Chip Syndicate, where he continues to make music and showcase his unique style and talent as a rapper. His involvement in both Pro Era and Dark Chip Syndicate has solidified his place in the rap scene and earned him a dedicated fan base. Jakk Da Rhymer's music continues to resonate with listeners and showcase his skills as a versatile and talented artist.
